Cortexa Signal
Cortexa Signal is the custom event detection module of the Cortexa platform. It allows customers to define any concept, pattern, or event they want to detect from radio communications — and finds it automatically, with evidence, across every channel in real time.
What Cortexa Signal does
- Customers define detection targets in plain language: a phrase, a pattern, a concept, or a combination of conditions
- The system monitors all channels continuously for defined targets
- Every detection is backed by the exact transmission, speaker, channel, and timestamp that triggered it
- Detections can trigger alerts, tasks, notifications, or integrations with external systems
- Detection thresholds and confidence levels are configurable per target
Example detection targets
- A specific piece of equipment mentioned in combination with a fault description
- Any mention of a named chemical compound near a specific location
- A watcher being named in a permit conversation
- Shift-change language that omits a required equipment state
- Any transmission matching a regulatory non-compliance pattern
- Competitor mentions, customer complaints, or quality indicators in field communications
No-code configuration
Detection targets are defined through the Cortexa configuration interface — no custom model training, no labelling datasets, no code changes. Targets take effect on the next transmission after saving.
Evidence and audit
Every Signal detection is logged with full evidence: the triggering transmission, linked audio, speaker, channel, and timestamp. Detection history is retained and exportable for audit and review.
