Cortexa Safe
Cortexa Safe is the safety intelligence module of the Cortexa platform. It monitors all radio communications continuously for safety-critical events and turns them into structured, evidence-backed records — without requiring workers to self-report or supervisors to manually review transcripts.
What Cortexa Safe detects
- Permit-to-work breaches: Hot work, confined space entry, lockout-tagout, and cold work verbal confirmations are verified against permit conditions in real time
- Confined space incidents: Distress language, unplanned egress, and equipment failure inside confined spaces
- Gas, fire, and hazard alarm responses: Verbal acknowledgements, escalation calls, and evacuation confirmations tracked across all channels
- Near-miss events: Close-call descriptions in natural speech that would typically go unreported
- Hazardous substance mentions: Recognised chemical names, spill language, and exposure reports
- PPE and procedure deviations: Verbal communications indicating non-compliance with safety procedures
Evidence backing
Every Cortexa Safe alert is linked to the exact transmission that triggered it: speaker callsign, channel, timestamp, playable audio clip, and transcript excerpt. If the system cannot cite its evidence, the alert does not fire. False positives are structurally eliminated.
Incident reconstruction
After any safety event, Cortexa Safe can reconstruct the complete incident timeline — every relevant transmission, in order, with audio — for investigation, regulatory reporting, or legal proceedings. Reconstruction takes seconds, not days.
